2018 ACM Award For Male Vocalist Of The Year Announced

Reba McEntire has shown why the ACM Awards asked her back to host the show with her hysterical bits throughout the show and never-ending charisma.

One of the biggest awards of the night was just handed out – Male Vocalist of the Year. Actress Rebecca Romijn did the honors of presenting the award.

The nominees are as follows:

Jason Aldean

Thomas Rhett

Chris Stapleton

Keith Urban

Chris Young

Each singer is deserving of the nomination, but only one can take home the prize, and that person is Chris Stapleton!

Stapleton has finally taken back this award! He won it in 2015, but lost out last year to Thomas Rhett, but with the year Stapleton had, it’s no surprise why he took it back. He released not one, but two albums this year, the Grammy Award-winning From A Room: Volume 1 in May 2017, and from A Room: Volume 2 in December. Congrats to Chris on this well-deserved award!

Unfortunately, Stapleton wasn’t present to accept his award, so the show’s host, McEntire, came out to accept on his behalf and announce that he and his wife Morgane had just welcomed their twins! It is also his birthday. What a day!
