This high award was given out to one of the most talented groups to ever hit country music radio waves – but it wasn’t given out lightly!
Nominated for the 2018 ACM Awards honor of Vocal Group Of The Year, LANCO, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Midland, and Old Dominion all were earmarked for the award in one way or another.
True to its name, the Vocal Group Of The Year award sets out to recognize great accomplishment and contribution to country music as a fully-featured music group and is lauded as one of the evening’s top honors.
In addition to Vocal Group Of The Year, several of the nominees for this category also scored nominations for the New Vocal Duo/Group Of The Year as well.
Last year, Little Big Town scored this high award and it became their fourth time winning in this category – a massive achievement in anyone’s eyes! Now, it appears that Old Dominion have won this prestigious award!
