It’s About Time

For the past few weeks, the country music fans have been patiently waiting for more news on Garth Brooks‘ new album. During one of his weekly Monday Facebook Live streams he calls Inside Studio G, he revealed that he has has been hard at work in the studio, which means new music!

Along with recording new music, Brooks also revealed that he will be heading out on tour again! The tour dates would be announced in batches throughout the year. With this announcement, he didn’t say exactly when we will be hearing any new songs, so we were kind of left in the dark with that – until now!

Honky Tonk Inspiration

When we woke up on Tuesday (June 19), we had no clue we’d be waking up to a brand-new Garth Brooks single! Titled “All Day Long,” Brooks took inspiration for the new single from playing in a honky tonk after wrapping up his three-year world tour.

We got to play Layla’s down on Lower Broad and just got to play it with no monitor system, no nothin’. You’re just hearin’ this stuff bounce off the walls,” he told morning radio show Ty, Kelly, and Chuck. “And then here comes ‘Friends in Low Places,’ here comes ‘Two of a Kind.’ I said, ‘A damn good honky tonk song…that’s what we’re lookin’ for. Let’s write it’.”

Brooks Brings The Party

During Monday night’s (June18) Inside Studio G, Brooks promised fans that “All Day Long” is a party song “from the very first lick.” This song comes at the perfect time as we get ready for summer!

Country radio, uptempo honky-tonk and summer go so good together!” he said.

The single is available exclusively on Amazon Music. You can download it here.
