Ceasing to follow normal procedure, the country singer’s representative shocked fans after revealing the truth (or lack thereof) behind the rumors of an impending engagement.
As Gossip Cop reports, many outlets have been slamming the internet with compounding rumors from untold “sources” saying Blake Shelton is preparing an on-air proposal to his pop star girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, and even more stating that he has hired a wedding planner.
Truth be told, the wedding planner they may or may not have hired, named Jerri Woolworth, isn’t just a wedding planner. Jerri is an organizer for many, many, many celebrity events, so even if the rumors are true – the event coordinator is probably hired for something entirely unrelated.
Moving onto the next rumor – the one that he’s planning some sort of “surprise” proposal on the stage of The Voice. Well, let’s just say that Shelton’s not proposing to anyone on the ‘Voice’ stage…at least not this season.
In an exclusive statement to Gossip Cop, a rep for Stefani says that the report is “made up”, while Shelton’s representative called the rumors “nonsense”.
