In a moment of pure joy and bliss for the young mother and country music superstar, Carrie Underwood has been announced as one of the newest recipients of an honor that not every entertainment icon gets to receive!

Announced through a press release and statement to ABC News, the honorees for the forthcoming 2018 induction to the Hollywood Walk of Fame were announced – and they included none other than the blonde bombshell country queen that stole our hearts when she became a true American Idol.

Underwood is just one of eight honorees set to be permanently installed into this world-famous attraction and collection of famous contributors to the arts. There has not been a date set for Underwood’s induction, but it should be announced in the coming months.

Joining legendary country artists like Hank Williams, Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and many more, Underwood is the latest member of the country industry to be honored with a permanent plaque on Hollywood Boulevard!
