Carrie Underwood & Faith Hill Rock The Grammys Wearing Strikingly Similar Dresses

ABC News (Left)/(Right) Entertainment Tonight

While the Grammys are a coveted time for artists to represent their musical masterpieces and desperately hope for the recognition to validate their hard work and efforts, the star-studded event is also a prime opportunity to showcase their best, or possibly worst, fashion creativity or catastrophe. Country music stars Faith Hill and Carrie Underwood have continuously found themselves praised for their ravishing attire and classy ensembles time after time. However, it seems the two performers share a little more in common than simply possessing unbelievable, award-winning vocals.

Both women graced the 59th Grammy Awards red carpet in strikingly similar gowns, although these country music beauties consulted separate designers to craft and complete their breathtaking fashion statements. Underwood and Hill were visions of undeniable beauty, sporting separate red dresses that essentially contained and accentuated the same cuts and reveals.

Hills gown, created by highly-regarded Lebanese designer Elie Madi, was nothing short of sexy chic as her illuminating dress evoked sophistication while creatively using the art of simplicity to the singer’s advantage. Complete with a high slit and one sexy cutout that accentuated the star’s chest, Hill exuded an abundance of confidence and class as she graced the red carpet with perhaps one of the best looks of the evening.

Underwood, although relying on a vastly different material for her gown, sported a very similar design and sex appeal. The “Church Bells” singer stunned viewers in a thick, lacy fabric complete with a respectable amount of beading and eye-catching sparkles. Similar to Hill’s, Underwood’s dress contained the exact chest cutout and high slit, giving the country music bombshell an extra dose of sexy.

Although both these leading ladies were gleaming throughout the night in their flawless attire that adequately showcased their sex appeal and personalities, social media users were in all sorts over this uncanny resemblance.

While some fans were in support of both the icons, others were quick to reveal their choice of “who wore it better”.

Neither of the singers have attempted to clarify the gown confusion, let alone address the wave of both curious and eager tweets. What do you make of this dress mishap? Do you think one of these singers wore it better?
