2016 has been one of the greatest years of Carrie Underwood‘s career so far. Her number one album Storyteller has churned out one hit after another, and also served as the backbone for her well-reviewed Storyteller Tour.

Underwood’s latest release off of Storyteller is the single “Dirty Laundry.” A sassy song about a man who gets caught with another women, “Dirty Laundry” is in the same vein as another smash hit of Underwood’s…a little song called “Before He Cheats.”

The CMA acknowledged Underwood’s accomplishments this year by nominating her for several awards. She ended up taking home the award for Female Vocalist of the Year, breaking Miranda Lambert‘s six-year winning streak in the process.

But even more so than Underwood’s big win, fans are buzzing about her powerful performance of “Dirty Laundry.” Standing on a platform with “dirty laundry” blowing in the wind behind her, Underwood boldly took command of the CMA stage with her performance. The crowd was on its feet in an instant, and remained standing throughout the duration of the song.

We’ve come to expect greatness from Underwood’s performances, and she didn’t disappoint this year! Just in case you missed it, tune in below to watch her bold performance of “Dirty Laundry.”
