Sneaking in a photo of the beautifully simple engagement ring, this country star did something she normally avoids at all costs: opened up to the public about her personal life.
Known for her debut single, “Better Than You Left Me” and nomination for ACM New Female Vocalist last year, Mickey Guyton has definitely started off her country music career on the right foot.
She’s also made the decision to keep her personal life private from the very beginning – until now!
Opening up to her fans on social media, the Nashville starlet shared one of the most beautiful moments with each and every one of her fans with a photo she uploaded revealing that she had recently become engaged!
The dazzling almond-shaped diamond sits atop a simple band and has been placed on top of an adorable little journal in a photo that shares in Guyton’s impeccable taste!
But what’s so secret about her engagement?
Well, as it turns out, Guyton hasn’t ever spoken publicly about who she is dating (and now engaged to) and she has kept that secret under wraps for some time now!
The only tidbits she’s unveiled about her husband-to-be is about his profession.
“He started his own law firm,” she told Taste of Country at the ACM Awards. “He’s a broke lawyer like I’m a broke artist. So we’re broke together. I think that’s what makes us so happy together.”
Needless to say, her fiancé is extremely lucky to have a gal like Mickey!
