Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Colin Kaepernick may be slated to appear on the next season of hit dancing competition “Dancing With The Stars” – if some sources are to be trusted, and Dale Jr. is finally speaking up about the rumors that have been swirling for some time now.

ABC’s “DWTS” has had NASCAR drivers on the show before, so this wouldn’t be anything new for them and they’ve even asked Danica Patrick to appear – but she declined. Most notably, Michael Waltrip competed alongside pro Emma Slater during the 2014 season, but did not take home the mirrorball trophy.

Having just retired from NASCAR’s Cup Series a few years ago, many say it would be surprising to see Dale Jr. appear on the forthcoming spring season of “DWTS” – especially since he and wife Amy welcomed their first child in May.

Taking to his favorite social media site, Twitter, Dale Jr. opened up about the rumors that he was set to appear on the dancing competition.

Veteran motorsports journalist, Adam Stern, tweeted out about the rumors saying “Colin Kaepernick & Dale Jr. are ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Producers’ Top Picks For Next Season.”

Shedding light on the subject and responding directly to the tweet, Dale Jr. posted a very simple GIF that announced his intentions regarding an appearance on “DWTS.”

If that wasn’t a clear enough answer, then we don’t know what is! What do y’all think about Dale Jr. saying he’d “never” do Dancing With The Stars? Let us know in the comments!
