Storming the stage in epic Garth Brooks fashion and singing his hit song, “Thunder Rolls”, this country music icon held nothing back for this magical surprise appearance at the CMA Music Festival in June!

The entirety of Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee roared to life with applause as hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett announced the surprise guest in a glorious fashion and saw him appear center stage.

The completely unannounced set was filled with hits like “Thunder Rolls”, “Calling Baton Rouge”, and “Ask Me How I Know” – his latest single. While those are all incredible songs from this storied entertainer, the biggest hits of the night were his performances of “The Dance” and a crowd-sing-a-long of “Friends In Low Places” which rounded out the night.

Nearly 30 years after the debut of his iconic single, “Friends In Low Places” it’s clear that nobody has forgotten the words and that the track has stood the test of time – because there wasn’t a soul in the crowd that wasn’t singing along with Brooks.

“That’s Nashville, home of country music!” He shouted. “YEAH!!!,” Brooks yelled with fans roaring. “Are you kidding me?”

With just a simple wave at the end, Brooks darted off stage and the crowd continued cheering wildly for him to come back.
