This year, the CMT Music Awards is serving as the place to premiere brand new new singles.
Little Big Town is premiering their new single “Summer Fever,” while Sam Hunt is debuting his new track “Downtown’s Dead.” Florida Georgia Line has chosen to premiere one of their two brand new singles at the awards show as well.

While “Colorado” is a wonderful song, the award-winning dup has chosen to perform “Simple” at the awards show. It is a fun, upbeat song that is so easy to sing along to! Not only is Florida Georgia performing, they are also up for four awards: Duo Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the Year, and Video of the Year. Although Video of the Year was narrowed down to six nominees, and they did not make that cut, they still have plenty of chances to take home an award tonight!
The duo kept their performance, well… simple. They took us back in time with their old-timey wardobe and set and had the entire audience swaying and singing along to the catchy hit.
