One Of Conway Twitty’s Most Beloved Songs Gets Remade

20-year-old Justen Harden has a silky smooth bass voice that will make you feel weak at the knees.  The second he sang the first note to Conway Twitty’s “Goodbye Time,” we were sold.

He performed the country icon’s song in the comfort of his own home, but sang it as if he were in front of thousands! Accompanying himself on just the guitar, Harden’s classic tone will restore your faith in the up and coming generation of country singers as he is a classic/traditional country singer to the core.

Twitty released “Goodbye Time” in February 1988 at his first single from the album Still In Your Dreams. It reached the Top Ten on the Billboard country charts and although it wasn’t one of his 40 number one songs, it still is a fan favorite. Many people may not know this, but Vince Gill actually sang backup on Twitty’s recording of “Goodbye Time.”

Besides Harden’s version, another notable cover is Blake Shelton’s, which he released on his 2004 album Blake Shelton’s Barn and Grill.

We loved everything about Harden’s version. The worst part about it was when it was over. We just wanted to hear more from the talented young man!

Watch his swoon-worthy version below.
