Huge News Regarding ‘The Joey + Rory Show’ Stuns Fans

Joey + Rory

In compliance to the overwhelming demand by the loyal followers of “The Joey+Rory Show,” the beloved reality series will be making its return to television. The show that made fans initially fall in love with the country singing duo will be returning to RFD-TV with additional never before seen features.

“The Joey+Rory Show” followed the married country singers, Joey and Rory Feek, as they lived a simple life on their Tennessee farm, performing their critically acclaimed music, and raising daughter Indy. Filming took place between 2012 and 2014 and spanned over four seasons.

The new retooled series will feature never before seen footage taken within their barn where the initial filming of the show took place. In addition, Rory arranged interviews amongst himself, his sister Marcy Gary, a variety of close family and friends, and singer Bradly Walker. The interviews will appear in each episode to complement the story being told in each respective segment. Rory hoped to give the opportunity for the people who were closest to Joey to unite and share their favorite stories about the late country singer.

Back in July of 2015, Joey Feek received the devastating news that she was suffering form Stage 4 cervical cancer shortly after giving birth to daughter Indiana. After a long strenuous battle against the aggressive disease, the singer passed away in February 2016.

“My wife’s greatest dream came true today.  She is in Heaven,” Rory wrote on his blog following the death of his wife. “The cancer is gone, the pain has ceased and all her tears are dry. Joey is in the arms of her beloved brother Justin and using her pretty voice to sing for her savior…Though this is, and has been, a time of many tears of sorrow, it has also been a time of countless tears of joy.”

Both devout Christians, even releasing their own Gospel album, the couple found strength through their faith during the darkest times of Joey’s illness. Fans have drawn inspiration from the manner Joey bravely faced her disease when many would have crumbled in a similar circumstance.

“The Joey+Rory Show” is set to premiere December 31 on RFD-TV at 9:30 p.m. EST. You can also now purchase a copy to Rory’s tribute film, To Joey, With Love, at many major stores including Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.
