Since winning the final season of American Idol in April, Trent Harmon has been traveling around the country for performances and interviews. Apparently, not all of these interviews go well and his most recent one with Albany’s country music radio station 107.7 WGNA did not go well at all.
In a video appropriately titled “Trent Harmon’s Worst Interview Ever”, radio host Nick Kessler sits down to interview the American Idol star, but things took an awkward turn when Kessler had to keep checking his notepad to confirm Harmon’s name.
After that painfully awkward moment, Kessler asked Harmon what it was like working with the superstar judges. Problem was, he began naming the judges from America’s Got Talent! Kessler asked about Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and Heidi Klum!
Many more awkward moments occurred during this interview, but we can’t look away. It’s like a car accident! We shouldn’t look, but we do anyway.
Harmon looked extremely uncomfortable during the entire interview and when he walked out of the room, he looked at the camera and flat-out said, “That was bad.”
Apparently, Nick Kessler is known for pulling pranks on almost every musician he interviews and makes them sit the the “worst interview ever”, and each interview is more painful to watch than the last.
