Loretta Lynn Forced To Postpone Concert

TODAY

At age 85, Loretta Lynn is still going strong. She continues to perform at venues across the country, entertaining fans with her immense catalog of hits.

But those planning to attend Lynn’s concert at the Carolina Theatre of Durham on Friday night (May 5) will have to wait a little longer. The theatre issued a press release stating that Lynn was forced to postpone the show at the last minute due to “unforeseen circumstances.

Although Lynn had to postpone her concert at the Carolina Theatre, we’re sure the fans will be understanding. It will be well worth the wait once they finally get to watch her perform.

All tickets already purchased for the show will be honored when the new date is established. Anyone wanting a refund can either call the Carolina Theatre or go through their original point of purchase.

As of press time, Lynn’s own team has not released a statement about the postponement. Her official website shows that her concert on Saturday (May 6) in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is still set to go on as scheduled.

Lynn has concerts scheduled all throughout the year, with her last show date of 2017 set to take place on November 18. In addition to touring, Lynn is also set to release a new album this year, titled Wouldn’t It Be Great. Featuring 13 tracks that were either written or co-written by Lynn, the album will hit the shelves on August 18. We wish Lynn the best as she moves forward with her busy year!
