Miranda Lambert has been topping headlines for months, ever since the news broke that she was dating Evan Felker, the married lead singer for the Turnpike Troubadours.
The couple met when Felker’s band opened for Lambert for a few dates in February. Felker reportedly filed for the divorce from his wife of a year-and-a-half, Staci, shortly thereafter. Staci has been open about her heartbreak on Instagram, sharing photos and thanking her support system for helping her through.

Lambert, 34, and Felker kept their relationship quiet and out of the public eye until recently when they stepped out for the first time together in New York City following Lambert’s appearance on Late Night with Seth Myers.

Even though Lambert and Felker have reportedly been dating for several months, Felker and his wife didn’t finalize their divorce until this past week, according to Page Six. The website obtained a docket confirming that the couple submitted an agreed decree of dissolution of marriage to the Oklahoma County court handling their divorce on Thursday (August 16).
One day later, Staci appeared to celebrate her freedom as she took to Instagram to share a photo with a caption that read, “Free on the earth.”
