Each year, America’s Got Talent seems to be better than the last, and this twelfth season of the show is not disappointing viewers one bit! Competitors of all ages are vying for the coveted championship title and the $1 million that comes along with it.

The show is currently airing its Judge Cuts, where judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel, along with a guest judge, which for this episode was Grammy-winning singer Seal, narrow down the acts from fifteen to seven by the end of the episode.

The competitors that survive the Judge Cuts will perform next for the live shows, so this round of performances is even more important than their first audition. The judges thought some of the acts did not improve, but one of the auditions that was taken to new heights, was an eight and nine-year-old dancing duo, Artyon and Paige.

They danced to the Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life”, and pulled out all the stops. Their routine was filled with flips, tricks, and they even included the iconic Dirty Dancing lift!

The judges were impressed by their dance and praised the young duo for their high energy. You’ll be glad to know that their Dirty Dancing-inspired performance was enough to advance them to the live shows!

Watch the lift below.
