Travis Tritt Mourns Devastating Loss

One of country music’s most loved singers was grief-stricken this morning after hearing that a dear friend and longtime colleague had passed away.

Travis Tritt and the incredibly talented producer behind his chart-topping masterpiece, “Best of Intentions” have known each other for decades and worked on some really powerful projects together. Sadly, this morning the news of Billy Joe Walker Jr.’s death quickly spread throughout the music community and left many mourning the loss of someone so talented.

Taking to his favorite social media platform, Twitter, Tritt opened up about his time spent with Walker and revealed his grief over the recent passing of such an influential man.

Walker had a massive presence in the country music industry and worked with some of the biggest names to ever hit the charts throughout his extensive career. He is also well known for his songwriting and penned several great singles for Eddie Rabbitt like “I Wanna Dance with You” and “B-B-B-Burnin’ Up with Love”. Beyond that, he also produced albums for Pam Tillis, Collin Raye, Travis Tritt, and played as a session musician with Crystal Gayle and many more.

Following the news of his passing, many people in the music industry have expressed their deep feelings of loss and issued condolences to his family during this difficult time.
