Mainly known for country ballads about the struggles young women go through, at 51 years old country singer Trisha Yearwood is now showcasing some lesser known talents of hers. On CBS’ morning talk show, The Talk, Yearwood absolutely nails her impression of British socialite Sharon Osbourne.
“She’s a lot of country, and little bit Brit?” Talk host Aisha Tyler asks confusedly in a promotional video for the segment.
“If you talked like Sharon Osbourne, it’d be fabulous!” exclaimed Yearwood excitedly. The country singer is probably referring to the age old debate of something read off by a person with a British accent sounds far more educated than someone without regardless of either’s level of intelligence.
While it’s unclear from the short video to tell what prompted Yearwood’s impression of Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne, a host on the talk show, laughs it off and doesn’t appear to take any offense to the country singers impression of her. Yearwood’s experience in the film industry is far less extensive than her music experience, but we can all agree she has acting potential (in the role of British talk show host anyways).
