As the blind auditions of Season 14 come to an end, Voice coaches with remaining spots left on their team struggle to decide who to to turn for. Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson stood alone waiting for a special voice to close out their teams, one special contestant even causing the Maroon 5 front-man to leap from his chair when Clarkson unexpectedly didn’t turn her chair.

Jackie Verna ignited The Voice stage with her stunning take on Kelsea Ballerini‘s megahit “Peter Pan.” While the singer no doubt is one of the most talented vocalist to walk the stage this season, Clarkson failed to turn her chair, a shocked Levine winning her by default.

“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!” said an excited Levine as he leaped from his chair to go and meet his new singer.

“Y’all, I just felt so much pressure!” said Clarkson.

“Pressure? That is the best bit of country singing I’ve heard, I don’t care what anyone of those guys says,” said Levine in defence of his newest team member.

Bet Blake Shelton is kicking himself over missing out on this one! Verna is from West Chester, Pennsylvania who dreamed of becoming a cheerleader for Alabama, the singer’s college dreams cut short after becoming injured in a car accident.
