All 15,000 tickets for the sixth annual Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival sold out months ago, but at least one lucky fan didn’t need one.
Kaitlyn Finn, 10, of Damascus not only came to see Underwood’s show, she was invited onstage to join her in singing, “All-American Girl.”
Kaitlyn was diagnosed with liver cancer at age 3 and received the country music festival experience through the Make a Wish Foundation.
She received a transplant and is now in remission. “I like to sing and Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite singers,” said Kaitlyn, who admitted to being nervous. “I’m excited!”
