Country artist Kelsea Ballerini is known for her long, blonde hair. She hasn’t changed her style that much in the past, though she did try out some fun highlights in the summer of 2020.
Ballerini tossed a few light pink highlights into her blonde hair. “it was a matter of time,” she captioned a picture of her colorful new look.

After the highlights faded, Ballerini went back to her typical blonde hue.

But after being blonde for so long, Ballerini wanted to switch things up. She took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (November 30) to ask her followers if she should stay blonde and cut her hair shorter, or if she should revert to her natural brunette color.
“…I’m itching for a change. So I’m either gonna go short and blonde…or I’m gonna go back to my natural color, which I haven’t been since the womb, which is brown…” she joked.
Based on the poll results, the majority of Ballerini’s fans wanted to see her dye her hair brown. So that’s exactly what she did!
Ballerini shared a photo on Instagram to debut her new look. She captioned it, “au naturale thanks for letting my blonde hibernate for the winter @marissamartinhair”
Her friends and followers were loving the darker color on her:
