Two of country music’s hottest newcomers recently revealed that they are dating, and the couple took things to a new level Tuesday night when they shared the Opry stage for a classic country duet.
“Every Little Thing” singer Carly Pearce was joined on the hallowed stage by her boyfriend and fellow artist Michael Ray. The two, who went public with their relationship in mid-July, teamed up for an epic performance of the Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash Grammy Award-winning song “Jackson.”
Clips of the performance were shared on social media and it didn’t go unnoticed by fans that their chemistry was off the charts. “You two are making our hearts explode,” one fan wrote. “Lord have mercy. This is goals!” said another.
Not only did the performance bring down the house, but the passionate kiss they shared afterward elicited cheers from the crowd.
Carly Pearce took country music by storm when her debut single, “Every Little Thing,” topped the US Country Airplay Chart. The 28-year old has become an Opry regular and celebrated her 50th appearance in June.
Michael Ray also made a name for himself with his debut single. “Kiss You In The Morning” topped the US Country Airplay Chart, but he got his start as the winner of The Next: Fame Is At Your Doorstep, a reality competition that aired for one season in 2012.
