The 17-year-old teamed up with Darius Rucker for a thrilling duet of the country music artist’s hit single ”Wagon Wheel.” The two artists stood side-by-side throughout the duration of the fun filled performance, strumming on their acoustic guitars while singing the iconic lyrics.
”Wagon Wheel” was originally recorded by Bob Dylan for his band the Old Crow Medicine Show back in 1973, Rucker giving the song a countrified makeover in 2013 where it shot to number one on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
19-year-old Maddie Poppe from Iowa was crowned the winner of the 16th season of the hit singing series finale episode.
