Elvis Presley remains one of the most admired celebrities in history. With his good looks, charming voice, and kind spirit, there was so much to love about the man that earned the title as “The King of Rock and Roll.”
Because Elvis was such a major star for decades, many people grew up with him. After being a fan of someone for so long, you start to feel like you know them personally, as many of Elvis’ fans felt.
As much as Elvis’ fans loved and still loved watching footage of him performing on stage, the moments they truly treasure are the more personal ones.
A More Personal Look At How “The King” Lived
Elvis kept his personal life under wraps for the most part, surrounding himself with his family and his close circle of friends. But a collection of home movies was released that finally allows fans to catch a glimpse of the more private side of his life.
The clips show Elvis during some of his happiest times with the people he loved, including Priscilla and their daughter, Lisa Marie.
One segment of clips shows Elvis and Priscilla enjoying some time together at the beach and the pool, and at one point Elvis can be seen wrapping her up in a big hug and planting a kiss on her cheek. How sweet!
But the real star of the show is Elvis’ bright smile, which never seems to disappear from his face throughout the whole clip.
