Kelly Clarkson’s daytime talk show has been a hit with viewers since it premiered in 2019 – and in particular, folks are loving the brand new opener style where she walks out singing a cover of a famous song. She likes to call it “Kellyoke.”
This time, Clarkson picked one of the biggest hits from Carrie Underwood’s career: “Before He Cheats.”
Adding her own flair and rock-flavored sound to this sassy cheater revenge song, Kelly really made it her own and opened the door for an internet movement to have Carrie as a guest on the show.
A lot of times, Kelly will sing the song of a guest she’s having on for an interview that day, but sometimes it’s just one for fun.
Clearly, Kelly is having all sorts of fun with this musical intro – and we have to say: “Before He Cheats” was an excellent choice!
