Loretta Lynn proved once again that she is a legend. She delivered one of the best covers we’ve ever seen and now we can’t stop watching it.
On the Wilburn Brothers Show a few decades ago, Loretta Lynn stopped by to sing an iconic Hank Williams tune and hit it out of the park.
Singing “Your Cheatin’ Heart”, Lynn performed the song as though it were her own, and it very well could be! Her songwriting style was very similar to this song, which is about a person warning their significant other that if they are unfaithful, it won’t be a secret.
Lynn sings the lyrics “You’ll cry and cry/And try to sleep/But sleep won’t come/The whole night through/Your cheatin’ heart will tell on you.”
Not many artists can do this song justice, but this is a performance the late Hank Williams would be proud of.
