Backstreet Boys Bring Shania Twain On Stage For Serenade At 2019 Show

If Shania Twain was trying to be incognito at a February 2019 Backstreet Boys concert, she needed to try a little harder! Normally, the singer is the one singing to her beloved fans, but at one concert during BSB’s Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood, she was the screaming fan!

We’re not sure if she told her favorite boy band she would be in attendance, or if they just spotted her in the crowd, but during their song “Shape Of My Heart,” AJ McLean walked into the audience to bring Twain on stage to join them.

This isn’t the first time Twain has shared the stage with the Backstreet Boys. Heck, it’s not even the first time she went to their Vegas show!  The Backstreet Boys performed “From This Moment On” with her in 1999 during part of her Winter Break Special in Miami.

Since their collaboration 20 years ago, they have not only remained fans of each other, but they have stayed friends. Twain previously saw their show in Vegas in February 2018.

She didn’t go on stage in 2018, but she definitely made up for that a year later! After McLean pulled her up, Howie D gave her a hug, and once they made their way to where the rest of the group was, you could tell Twain was singing their hit song, which was released in 2000.

She and Nick Carter embraced and all of a sudden, McLean got down on one knee to serenade her while belting out the song’s final notes.
