It was a beautiful day at the studio for America’s Morning Show when they welcomed not only one country music star, but two – and one of them was an icon not many get to meet!
Sitting down with the unbelievably talented Kane Brown, Nash Country Daily streamed live from the studio and captured this heart-wrenching moment all on tape!
As Brown began his spine-tingling cover of Randy Travis’ 2002 super-hit, “Three Wooden Crosses”, everyone sitting behind the camera fell silent…but they weren’t silent for very long.
Watching the video, you’ll see Brown begin to sing and only get a short way into the first verse when out of the corner of the frame, Randy Travis and his wife walk in unannounced! Randy has the biggest smile on his face and looks tickled to give this young star one of the biggest surprises of his lifetime!
Brown can’t even begin to pick up the song where he left off because he’s so overcome with emotion! When he finally does pick back up again, Randy has taken a seat right next to him and the two are obviously thrilled to be meeting one another!
