It’s no question that Taylor Swift‘s Reputation tour was going to be talked about. From her sassy singles to incredible production, fans across the world couldn’t wait to get their hands on a pair of tickets.
Since the beginning of her tour days, Swift has been known for bringing out surprise guests on stage. From city to city the artist would differ at every stop, leaving the audience anxiously awaiting their date to come. Just a few of Swift’s surprises have included Sugarland, Tim McGraw, and Sam Hunt.
Aside from the many talents, it was one girl-power duo in particular that tore up the stage leaving country music fans going wild. Country music star Maren Morris performed her hit single “The Middle” with Swift this past week. Morris’ collab with Zedd and Grey shredded the charts holding the #1 spot for a majority of the summer. All music genres aside, this single took international success.
In a sold-out stadium performance, Morris and Swift stormed across the stage In their glammed-out, fierce outfits. Performing for the first time at AT&T Stadium in her hometown, the “Rich” singer dominated the crowd as Swift followed. After the show, Morris took to social media admitting that Taylor Swift is wholeheartedly an idol of hers.
Morris wasn’t the only one in admiration that night though. The “Shake It Off” singer was more than excited to bring out the rising star on stage explaining to the audience that she is “a super fan of this artist.” Hyping up Morris’ latest album, Hero, Swift even follows with “I know soon she’ll be playing in stadiums this size.” It’s evident the pair are ready to take on the music world together!
