During a preview of Season 3 of The Kelly Clarkson Show, a hilarious moment was caught on film and is now going viral on the internet. Clarkson was joined by her 7-year-old daughter River Rose, and her 5-year-old son Remington Alexander. Clarkson’s special guest on the show was Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin. During the filming of the episode, Clarkson’s son unintentionally steals the spotlight in a way that only a 5-year-old can do.

Clarkson, River, and Remington are listening and singing along to Martin who has his guitar and is performing his band’s hit song “Yellow.” During the star’s performance, Remington abruptly interrupts to announce that nature is calling.

“I need to go to the bathroom,” he said with a smile on his face as the audience burst out in laughter. The camera also captured his mother’s immediate reaction. Even though the preview clip ends before we are able to hear Clarkson’s response, it’s safe to assume that she had a comeback that was just as hilarious.
