It seems the Presley family is chock-full of talent. Elvis Presley’s distant cousin happens to be young Lauren Marie’s father and from the sound of it, The King’s talent was passed down to her.

We already knew Lauren Marie had an incredible voice thanks to her cover of Sara Evans’ “A Little Bit Stronger,” but she completely blew us away with her take on a Martina McBride classic, “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.”

The emotional song was originally released by McBride in 2011 off her album Eleven. The song, about at 38-year-old woman who is battling breast cancer, was inspired by co-writer Sonya Isaacs’ mother Lily who is a breast cancer survivor. It has since become an anthem of support for women battling cancer from their families and communities.

Although the young singer is not yet a teenager, she portrays the right amount of strength in the song to give you chills every time she hits a high note. To say that Elvis would be proud of his cousin is an understatement. If she continues recording music like this, she has a bright future ahead of her.
