Landman‘s Second Season Is On The Way…And Will Not Face A Delay
Landman fans are thanking their lucky stars, as it’s been revealed that the premiere of the show’s second season hasn’t been delayed after all.
Paramount held its Q1 earnings call in May. During that call, the company shared the estimated release time frames for Landman and other Taylor Sheridan shows. A call transcript indicated that Landman‘s second season was poised to premiere in November.
Then, Paramount held its Q2 earnings call on July 31. During the call, Paramount announced that the release of a new Yellowstone spin-off, The Dutton Ranch, had been delayed. The show was initially slated to premiere in late 2025, but its premiere has been pushed back to 2026.
Paramount co-CEO Chris McCarthy also seemed to imply Landman‘s second season had been delayed until December.
McCarthy discussed the season premieres for multiple Sheridan-led series. He shared that Tulsa King would debut in September, Mayor of Kingstown in October, and Landman in December.
Needless to say, Landman fans were discouraged about the potential delay and even more eager to hear an official premiere date.

Thankfully, it turns out that Landman hasn’t been delayed until December!
Landman fans finally got the news they’d been waiting for on Wednesday (August 13). The Season 2 premiere date was revealed!
Clear your calendars for Sunday, November 16, when Landman‘s second season will debut.

The show shared a short teaser clip to accompany its announcement, which doesn’t give away much about the new season.
It also doesn’t show the new character played by Academy Award-nominated actor Sam Elliott. He joined the cast this season, and details about his character have been kept tightly under wraps.
