Lainey Wilson Set To Headline Stagecoach Festival
California’s major country music festival, Stagecoach, will take over the Empire Polo Club in Indio this weekend, April 24-26th. The annual event draws roughly 80,000 fans per day and is known for surprise collaborations and guest appearances.
The lineup for the highly anticipated festival features more than 70 artists. Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Post Malone are set to headline on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively.
Lainey Wilson is no stranger to Stagecoach, having performed at the event twice before. She had an opening slot for her first appearance in 2022, playing on a small daytime stage. She recalls that only a couple of hundred people were in the crowd, and her crew’s computers overheated due to the lack of shade.
Now, just four years later, she is the main event on the “Mane” Stage Saturday night. Ahead of the festival, she sat down with John Mayer on Sirius XM’s How’s Life to talk about her plans for the upcoming performance.

What Fans Can Expect From Lainey’s Performance
One thing is for sure: things will be heating up in the desert. Lainey Wilson revealed one element of her Stagecoach set that she has never done before in her career.
“Your girl’s never done pyro. I’m doing pyro.“
In addition to the massive audience who will witness her set in person, Stagecoach will be streamed live for a global audience. Coverage begins daily at 4 p.m. PT/6 p.m. CST on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch.
The “Somewhere Over Laredo” singer confirmed that she will have surprise special guests join her on stage. She shared:
“I wanna make sure that it’s an experience. Yes, there on the fairgrounds, but also when people are watching on the other side of the world. I want ’em to feel like they’re there, so I’ve got a lot of really cool ideas. We’re about to really get into the thick of it.”
Lainey Wilson is scheduled to perform at Stagecoach at 9:30 pm PT on Saturday, April 25th.
