7. She Has To Lie On The Floor When She Writes Music
Throughout her decades-long career, Rimes has turned into quite the songwriter. Her last non-Christmas album, Spitfire, featured her as a co-writer on eight of the thirteen tracks. She revealed to Us Weekly that her writing process is a tad unconventional.
“I prefer to lie on the floor whenever I am creating or writing. It’s my happy place,” she said.

6. She Loves Sports
These days, she is seen on the sideline at her stepsons’ soccer games, but turns out Rimes loves playing sports herself!
“I’d play softball daily if I could,” she revealed to Us Weekly.
5. She Doesn’t Care About Superstition
When you think of Friday the 13th, or black cats, good thoughts don’t come to mind! For Rimes, the opposite occurs.
“I like the number 13 and black cats. I see them as lucky instead of a curse.”

4. Her Celebrity Crush Is Twice Her Age
LeAnn Rimes admits to have read the book The Dude and The Zen Master a few years ago, and fell in love with one of the authors, actor Jeff Bridges.

3. Numbers Are Her Thing
You know when you look at the clock and make a wish if you see it’s 11:11? That might happen to the average person once in a while, but for LeAnn Rimes, it happens just about everyday. And multiple times!
“I pay attention to numbers,” she revealed to Us Weekly. “I see 11:11, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44 and 5:55 almost daily.”
That’s a lot of wishes for someone who isn’t superstitious!
2. Her First Acting Gig Was On A Daytime Soap
While we all know Rimes infamously met her now-husband while they were filming the Lifetime Movie Northern Lights, that wasn’t her first time acting! In fact, her first time in front of a camera was when she was just 16-years-old on one of her favorite TV shows.
She played teen runaway Madison on the popular soap opera Days Of Our Lives for one episode. She later went on to make appearances in Drop Dead Diva and Charlie Sheen’s FX show Anger Management.
