The third season of The Masked Singer kicked off after the Super Bowl on February 2. Some of the contestants introduced during the season’s first episode were the White Tiger, the Robot, the Llama, and Miss Monster.
Miss Monster felt inspired to choose her name and costume in honor of Season 1’s winner, T-Pain. The rapper donned the now-iconic blue monster costume as he competed throughout the show’s inaugural season.

In her first “clues” package, Miss Monster made it clear she wants to follow in the Monster’s footsteps and win the show.
Other clues pointed to her having a well-known hairdo. She also uttered the phrases “it was fire” and “he made me feel.”
Those commenting on Miss Monster’s clues video on YouTube seem pretty sure she’s R&B singer-songwriter Chaka Khan. Reason being? Khan has songs titled “Through the Fire” and “I Feel for You.”
Another comment also noted how the Monster opened locker #10, and Khan has ten Grammy Awards.
But the judges had other guesses about Miss Monster’s identity after they heard her cover one of Bonnie Raitt‘s most iconic songs.
Miss Monster sang “Something to Talk About,” which Raitt released in 1991 as a single off of her record Luck of the Draw. The song was a smash success, and reached the fifth spot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
“Something to Talk About” is not an easy song to perform, but Miss Monster proved to have the pipes to pull it off. The judges figured she had to be an experienced singer, guessing she could be Mary J. Blige, Dionne Warwick, or Dolly Parton.
Go ahead and watch Miss Monster sing “Something to Talk About” in the video below and let us know which celebrity you think she is. She managed to avoid elimination with this performance, so it may take some time before we know her identity!
