There’s no doubt about it. Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman are madly in love.
Every chance they get, which lately has been on the red carpet at awards shows, their love is on full display and quite honestly, we can’t seem to get enough.
At the 2017 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards, where Kidman was up for the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, the couple could not stop gushing about each other!
Urban praised her performance in the film and called it a “beautiful film, a great role and she’s beautiful in it!”
Kidman quickly turned the attention towards her country singing hubby, saying, “He’s nominated for three GRAMMYs, so that’s comin’ up.” Her husband had to remind her, “We’re here for Lion.” It was so sweet that even though they were at this awards show for her career, she couldn’t help but brag about his.
Urban attended the GRAMMYs that year solo because Kidman was nominated for a BAFTA, also known as the British Oscars, and both awards shows took place on the same night. They will, however be reunited for the Academy Awards on February 26, where Kidman is nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
The Australian actress did an interview with W Magazine and revealed some of her deepest, darkest secrets about her relationship with Urban, including their sexiest date.
“When I turned 40 and Keith drove me up to the top of this small hill,” she revealed. “We were shooting the film Australia. He sat me down and he had put together this huge firework display. And I sat there and watched, like, fireworks that would’ve cost a fortune, and it was just for the two of us. It was sexy.”
How romantic! While Urban is the romantic one, Kidman admits she’s a bit high maintenance, especially when it comes to communication.
“I have a thing, with Keith actually, where I call him and I know it’s terribly demanding, but if he doesn’t answer and I have to keep calling back, and calling back, I get anxious, so I don’t like that,” she says with a laugh. “Does that make me high maintenance?”
