Official Trailer For “Yellowstone” Prequel “1883” Finally Released

Ever since the Yellowstone prequel 1883 was announced, fans have been eager to get more and more information about the upcoming series.

On August 4, news broke about the first casting news surrounding the Yellowstone prequel series 1883.

The highly-anticipated show will follow the Dutton family’s decision to move to Montana in hopes of escaping poverty. 1883 also highlights Manifest Destiny, a belief that drove settlers to dispute with Native Americans who occupied the plains. 

1883’s first casting news included some big names: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott!

Since the initial announcement, a few different teaser trailers have been released, but on December 3rd, the official trailer was finally revealed.

Fans will get to see Tim McGraw in rare form, getting caught up in shootouts and trying his best to protect is family amidst an onslaught of violence. Both his real-life and on-screen wife, Faith Hill, also appears in the trailer, alongside Sam Elliott, Billy Bob Thornton, and many others.

1883 will premiere December 19 on Paramount +.
