Country music singer Ella Langley has become an absolute superstar over the past few years! While her success seems to have skyrocketed overnight, Ella has been building her career in music for nearly a decade.
1. A True Southern Girl
Ella Langley is from the small town of Hope Hull, Alabama, where she began singing in church and on her family’s farm, even singing to cows as a little girl.
The 26-year-old once told Katie Neal from Audacy’s Katie & Company that her first major purchase since rising to fame was buying a home in Hope Hull, and being near her home and family is what helps her stay connected.
“It just brings me back to who I am at the root of me every time I go back there. And when it comes to writing songs and being in that state of mind, I think it’s important to have a place like that,” Ella said.

“I put her on my manifestation board to write a song with for two years in a row,” Ella admitted to ABC Audio. “It’s just crazy how things work out. You know, you just think of something and you just hope one day that maybe that can happen. And next thing you know you’re putting out the song and she’s a writer on it. So that’s been so cool.”

Ella originally wrote her breakout hit, “you look like you love me,” with someone other than Riley Green. She first wrote the song as what she described as a “joke” with a man name Aaron Raitiere. Green was later shown the song, loved it, and suggested adding a second verse from the male perspective to make it a duet, as they were set to tour together.
