Millions of viewers tuned in to watch Yellowstone‘s Season 4 finale. Not long after, fans started asking when they could expect to see Season 5.
There has been a lot of talk about Season 5 over the course of the past few weeks. Deadline reported in December 2021 that production for Season 5 will begin in May 2022. So it’s never been a matter of IF Season 5 will happen, but rather, WHEN it will happen.
While we still don’t know the exact answer to the latter question, we now know with absolute certainty that Season 5 is on its way.
Taking to its official social media accounts, Yellowstone announced on Thursday (February 3) that is has been renewed for Season 5. “We’ve got some super sweet news: #YellowstoneTV season 5 is a go. See you back at the ranch!” the show’s statement read.
Along with the renewal news, Deadline reports that two of Yellowstone‘s guest stars have been upgraded to series regulars. One of these stars is Kathryn Kelly, who plays Jimmy’s (Jefferson White) new fiancée, Emily.
Many fans will also be thrilled to hear that Jennifer Landon, who plays Teeter, has been named a series regular as well.
Teeter has been a fan-favorite character since she was introduced in Season 3. She and the other women were asked to leave the ranch in Season 4, but Teeter returned and made her case for why she should stay. She softened John Dutton’s heart, and he welcomed her back. After this, she shared an emotional reunion with Rip.
Fans have loved watching Teeter on the show, and now they’ll get to see a lot more of her in Season 5! Watch some of her best moments in the video below.
