She’s a multi-talented entertainer who can sing, act, and dance! Just look at her go in this clip from the 1970s, singing and tap dancing on the spot.
She is considered a national treasure, so every year she has a birthday, the world thanks their lucky stars she’s still around making us laugh.
During her second annual 90th birthday celebration several years ago, Blake Shelton walked on stage and confessed his undying love to Betty. At the time, Shelton was married to Miranda Lambert.
With his guitar at the ready, Shelton admits, “You see, I’ve got a confession to make. I’ve always had a little bit of a crush on you. Since I’m a happily married man, I’ve been denying my true feelings for you, but I’m not going to deny them anymore. In fact, I think I can not deny them best in a song.”
He then began to sing a new version of his hit song, “Honey Bee,” where the chorus included several tidbits relating to some of the iconic roles White has had over the years. He ended his song for the birthday girl, ending with, “Betty, you are are the best.”
