Fans may be able to help create Luke Combs’ next album.
Luke Combs has been teasing the possibility of an upcoming album for quite some time now.
Although he hasn’t shared many details about the project, he has consistantly teased unreleased tracks over the past several months.
Fans have already heard previews of songs like “Pushin’ Up Daisies,” and “Wish Upon a Whiskey.” And just a couple of weeks ago, Combs released his newest single, “Back in the Saddle,” along with an official music video.

So, will fans get to hear all of these tracks on one album? Well, that might be up to them...
Luke Combs took to his X account on Tuesday, August 5, and revealed that he’s “seriously considering” an idea most artists don’t typically go for when releasing new music.
According to his post, Combs is thinking about “crowd sourcing” his next project.
This means he wants to share as many demos as possible and let fans help choose which songs should be fully produced and officially released.
“Seriously considering “Crowd Sourcing” my next record,” he wrote. “Like just put up a bunch of demos and worktapes to see what y’all like best.”

In the comments of Combs’ post, fans said they thought it was a great idea. Many were just excited at the possibilty of being part of the process and help Combs create something news.
“Yes! Why is this not done more often,” asked one person.
“Don’t threaten us with a good time fella,” said another.
“This is genius!” said someone else.
If Combs really does go this route, it could turn into something really fun for his fanbase. It also means the album would be packed with songs people actually want to hear.
Either way, whenever he decides to release it, Combs has already made it clear that this new album will be something special. He’s even said he truly feels like it could be his best one yet.
“I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks working on what my next record looks like and as it begins to take shape I can honestly say I’ve never felt better about one at this stage,” Combs wrote on X back in March. “It’s early on but I really do think it could wind up being the best record I’ve ever made.”
