Fans have already heard a snippet of the upcoming track. At the end of last month, Combs shared a short video of the unreleased song.

In the clip, he effortlessly belts out a few lines while his co-writer plays guitar beside him.

Here are the lyrics we know so far from the song:

“I’ve been gone for a little too long/ I’ve been waitin’ on a drummer to kick off a comeback song/ I’ve been waitin’ in the wings like a dog on a chain.”

Fans have gotten to hear other unreleased tracks like “Pushin’ Up Daisies,” and “Wish Upon a Whiskey,” but they’re still waiting for Combs to release them on streaming platforms.

With the “Fast Car” singer slowly unveiling new music, fans are starting to wonder… is Luke Combs gearing up to drop a new album?

While nothing has been confirmed yet, Combs recently hinted that something’s in the works.

In a post shared to his X account, he said he’s in the early stages of creating a new project. And even though it’s still coming together, he feels it could be his best one yet.

“I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks working on what my next record looks like and as it begins to take shape I can honestly say I’ve never felt better about one at this stage,” Combs wrote. “It’s early on but I really do think it could wind up being the best record I’ve ever made.”
