The Masked Singer season premiere was two nights long, so another episode aired on Thursday night (September 23). That’s when the judges and viewers got the chance to hear the Bull sing again.

This time, the Bull opted to perform a song that has deep roots in country music…”What Hurts the Most.”

The song was originally recorded by Mark Wills, but he never released his recording as a single. It has since been covered by many other artists, most notably by the country music trio Rascal Flatts.

Rascal Flatts released their version of “What Hurts the Most” in January 2006. Their version reached the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and also crossed over to claim the #6 position on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

“What Hurts the Most” is a powerful song, and it’s not easy to sing. But the Bull pulled it off.

The Bull started their cover of “What Hurts the Most” by singing a series of sky-high notes. The judges’ jaws literally dropped as they listened to the Bull hit notes way up in the rafters.

As the Bull continued, the judges remained obviously in awe of their performance. You too are sure to be amazed when you watch them sing “What Hurts the Most” in the video below.

It’s still too early in the competition to know who the Bull is, but viewers already have some guesses. Who do you think the Bull could be? Let us know your thoughts!
