Carrie Underwood Spills The Beans On Husband’s Father’s Day Surprise

Carrie Underwood has been on the road since January and performing for sold-out crowds almost every single night on her Storyteller Tour.

Her first leg of the tour ended on May 30, so she hasn’t had much time to prep for her husband’s second Father’s Day celebration. In fact, she doesn’t even know when it is!

In a backstage interview with E!’s Carissa Culiner, Underwood reveals that there’s one thing she does for her NHL star husband, Mike Fisher, on special occasions.

She makes him crock-pot french toast, which takes hours and hours to make! She has to wake up at 3am to start making it!

“It’s kind of annoying, but I’ll do it on special occasions for him,” she said. “So I’ll probably make him breakfast in bed”.

As far as gifts go, Underwood hasn’t started shopping quite yet, and neither has Isaiah!

“I haven’t really bought him any gifts. Isaiah hasn’t bought him any gifts either. That kid’s a slacker!” she joked.

No matter what she gets him, we’re sure Fisher will love just spending the day with his wife and son.
