Carrie Underwood Spills The Beans On What Actually Goes On During Carpool Karaoke

James Corden has gone viral quite a few times for the Carpool Karaoke segment on his late night talk show, The Late Late Show. It should be renamed Carpool Carrie-okie because of how amazing and hilarious Carrie Underwood’s bit was.

Corden drove Underwood all around Los Angeles and together, they sang her hits “Smoke Break”, “Jesus Take The Wheel”,  and “Before He Cheats” as well as “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”. Corden wanted a country makeover, so obviously Underwood was the right person to help him pick out the perfect hat and boots.

Their Carpool Karaoke has been viewed over 18 million times and for good reason! A lot of work goes into making these viral sensations, which are between 8-12 minutes long, and underwood is finally spilling the beans on what goes on behind the scenes!

She sat down with The Sun and revealed that while filming took “forever…it was a lot of fun.”

“You sing the whole song and they take excerpts of it,” she said. “There are all these Go Pros on the windshield, so when you stop at a red light people are like, ‘What is going on with that car?’”

Because they filmed so much, there were a lot of things we didn’t get to see, including “a lot of interaction with pedestrians and other people nearby.

They should definitely release an extended version of Carrie Underwood’s Carpool Karaoke. We’d watch it for sure!
