Dolly Parton Wishes Fans A Blessed New Year As She Closes Out A Difficult 2025
Country music queen Dolly Parton continues to be a bright light and gift to the world!
Despite having quite the challenging 2025 herself, Dolly continues to be a positive role model and inspiration to fans.
On September 17, Dolly first worried fans when she was scheduled to attend an event at Dollywood for the announcement of the park’s new attraction, Night Flight Expedition but had to cancel at the last minute due to kidney stones that caused an infection.
Then just a few weeks later, Dolly announced that was forced to postpone her upcoming Las Vegas residency shows due to unforeseen “health challenges.”
Dolly explained that she wanted to put on her best show for fans, and would not be able to give them the experience they hoped for at this time.
Just a few months ago, Dolly’s ongoing health issues forced her to skip a November 17 ceremony inducting her into the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ Hall of Fame.
In a social media video, she explained to fans that doctors advised her not to attend the event.
“I sure wish I could be with you in person today, but you probably heard that I’ve been dealing with a few health challenges this fall, and my doctors told me to take it easy for just a little while,” Dolly said at the time. “I’m truly sorry I can’t be there, but I sure wanted to take the chance to say thank you for this incredible honor.”

Dolly Shares Hopeful New Year’s Greetings
In a newly released video, Dolly took to social media on New Year’s Eve to wish fans a blessed and happy new year head.
“Can you believe its already time to ring in the new year?” Dolly said. “As we say goodbye to the old and welcome the new, I want to wish each and every one of you a year filled with happiness and more blessings than you can count.”
Fans flooded the comment section to praise Dolly, sharing just how loved she truly is.
