Country superstar Luke Bryan celebrated his fortieth birthday in style on July 17. The country star’s birthday bash was nothing less than you would expect from the party starting Georgia born native.
Party goers wore T-shirts with the saying “Shakin’ Dem Hips Since ’76” above a photo of Luke shaking it just like he notoriously asks the country girls to shake it for him. Some party goers in attendance include the band members of Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch who are currently on tour with Luke for his ongoing Kill the Lights Tour.
A camera went around to different party attendees asking each to wish Luke a special happy birthday. A few standout birthday shout-outs are:
“Forty years old! You’re so freakin’ old. It ain’t showin’ though dude,” Dustin Lynch tells the camera. “Love ya! As always let’s tear it up!”
“You’re older than us! You’re older than us!” chanted Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town before the entire band started singing an enthusiastic “Happy Birthday.”
Luke Bryan’s wife, Caroline, surprised Luke on stage with a three-tier cake decorated with flames and a photoshopped picture of his face on the body of a Chippendale dancer’s body. The cake was rolled out on stage during the concert while the crowd sang happy birthday to Luke before someone sprayed a bottle of champagne onto a kissing Luke and Caroline (notably dressed as a cupcake).
