Thanksgiving is next week, so now is the time that everyone is finalizing their menus for the big day.
Because of the global pandemic, Thanksgivings around the country are likely going to be a little smaller than normal this year, so it’s a perfect time to try new recipes. Lots of chefs are sharing their new recipes, including Ina Garten, who is also known as The Barefoot Contessa.

In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, Garten will be sharing recipes to her new side dishes for “Micro Thanksgiving.” Normally, Thanksgiving is the perfect place for a thick and creamy green bean casserole, but Garten updated the recipe to be a bit more modern.
Using Haricots Vert instead of green beans, the recipe also calls for hazelnuts and dill. Haricots Vert are a bit thinner than a green bean, but are treated very similar to the Thanksgiving favorite.
Her recipe serves four people and is so easy that beginner cooks can make it! Check out her full recipe here.
