Jimmie Allen reveals that he has a total of six children
Country singer Jimmie Allen, known for his songs “Best Shot” and “Good Times Roll,” revealed a surprising detail about his personal life yesterday. In a series of Instagram stories, Allen introduced his followers to his six children.
Previously, fans were only aware that the musician had four children. He shares daughters Naomi (4) and Zara (2), and son Cohen (5 months) with his estranged wife Alexis Gale. Allen is also the father to Aadyn (9) from a previous relationship.
To the surprise of many, Allen shared photos of twins Aria and Amari (9 months) whom he reportedly welcomed with another woman last summer… while he was still married to Alexis.
Along with the photos, Allen shared a message:
“I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.💛.”

In the spring of last year, Jimmie Allen and his wife shocked fans when they announced their separation after just two years of marriage. Allen wrote in an Instagram post (which has since been removed):
“After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate…”
At the same time, the couple shared that they were expecting their third child together.
“As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year. Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.”
Jimmie Allen finds himself amidst sexual abuse allegations
On the same day that the couple filed for divorce (April 28, 2023), Jimmie Allen was hit with a lawsuit by a former member of his management team for assault and sexual abuse.
The artist quickly denied the allegations saying that such accusations from a person that he considered a close friend were “profoundly troubling and hurtful.”
Just last week, on March 14, 2024, the former manager dropped the sexual assault lawsuit and “agreed to move past litigation” against Allen. The parties settled for an undisclosed amount in exchange for not taking the case to court.
Alexis Gale responds to Jimmie Allen’s recent surprise
It is currently unclear where the relationship stands between Jimmie Allen and his estranged wife. In October 2023, a representative from Allen’s team told PEOPLE that the couple had reconciled and that the divorce “was never fully seen through legally.”
However, recent Instagram stories posted by Alexis would suggest that the couple is not amicable. Shortly after Allen revealed the twins that were born last year, Alexis shared a video where she does not explicitly mention her husband, but seems to allude to the situation. She says:
“Those lies… they will always catch up to you. What is done in the dark will come out in the light.”
